Why we started this ocean world
Amelia loves the sea: dolphins, turtles, penguins, the strange glowing fish in the deep. Every question she asked ("Do whales sleep?" "Why do clownfish live in anemones?") turned into a little adventure, and we wanted a place where she could swim in and see the answers for herself.
So we built one together. Amelia is our chief tester: she told us the diver should be something you can steer, that the dolphins should come and play, and that the animals shouldn't be crowded together ("in real life you'd never see that!"). We try to make every animal look and behave the way it really does in the wild.
How Kids Love the Sea stays free
Exploring the ocean is free, with no ads and no data collected from children. Each new animal and sea takes real work and paid 3D and voice tools to make.
